Hammond Spreading offer a topdressing service to the whole region and beyond. Our fully-computerised, GPS-mapped trucks provide service throughout the Wairarapa and Tararua districts from bases in Carterton and Eketahuna.

Agricultural Specialisation

Hammond Spreading Limited specialises in the topdressing of soil nutrients for the dairy, sheep & beef, cropping and organic horticulture industries. We'll use your preferred fertiliser products and can spread any type of solid fertiliser, working alongside New Zealand-wide suppliers.

Modern Equipment

We are equipped with modern trucks and side-tip trailers for top-dressing, bulk-tip truck and trailer for all cartage as well as air-strip deliveries for aerial spread.

We have modern wheel-loaders with weigh-systems onboard.

All vehicles are GPS-tracked and spreading and spraying vehicles use the Tracmap online system. This gives the customer the detail and repeatability of requested jobs.

Agricultural Lime

Hammond Spreading operates its own quarry and can supply ag-lime and other grades of limestone rock.
